Srinagar Airport
On your Arrival at Srinagar International Airport & Proceed to Hotel chick-in. Srinagar is also known as “Paradise on Earth” & Venice of Asia. Later you will proceed for Local Sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens: – Visit Shankar Acharya Temple (built on the top of the mountain overlooking Dal Lake) then visit to Pari Mahal (Palace of Fairies) CheshmaShahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un- Nissa), Dinner & Overnight stay in hotel Srinagar
After early breakfast Drive to Sonmarg and later short drive of 15 Kms will take you to Neelgrath {Baltal} (Helipad) Neelgrath {Baltal}- Panchtarni –Neelgrath {Baltal} helicopter ride. The Helicopter start operating at 06.00 Hrs (Weather Permitting).Panjtarni is approx 6 Kms from Holy Cave, you can go there by Foot or can hire Palki/Pony at your own cost. After darshan return back to Panjtarni to board helicopter to Neelgrath {Baltal} Return back to Srinagar On arrival check in your hotel / houseboat.Dinner & overnight stay at Sonmarg.
After breakfast leave for Sonmarg for a Sonmarg is derived from two Kashmiri words ”Son” & ”Marg” Which means ”Gold” & „„Meadows‟‟. When put together it means ”Meadow of Gold” The drive from Srinagar to Sonmarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the Paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. In Sonmarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4Kms from Sonmarg (own your own expenses). You can also visit Zero point, a local Taxi has to be hired (on your own Expenses). Return back to Srinagar in the evening after enjoyed your day, overnight stay in Houseboat at Dal Lake.
After breakfast at Houseboat you will proceed to Srinagar Airport to catch your Flight for your onward destination with sweet holiday Memories.
