Itinerary

Day 1Start from Base city

  • Assemble at the boarding point and start your night journey towards base city

Day 2Mahabalipuram - Auroville - Pondicherry

  • Reach base city and get into AC hired bus/ tempo.
  • Visit sunrise at Marina beach. Stop at restaurant finish breakfast.
  • Start  from Chennai and head straight to Mahabalipuram (around 1-2 hours drive from Chennai).
  • Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mahabalipuram.
  • Explore the famous Shore Temple, Pancha Rathas, Arjuna’s Penance, Butter Ball and other ancient rock-cut temples and sculptures.
  • After exploring Mahabalipuram, depart for Auroville (around 2-3 hours drive from Mahabalipuram).
  • Reach Auroville by late afternoon. Have lunch inbetween.
  • After exploring Auroville, head towards Pondicherry. 
  • Check into accommodation in Pondicherry.
  • Once you’ve settled in, explore the French Quarter (White Town) of Pondicherry.
  • Visit landmarks like the French War Memorial, Aayi Mandapam, and stroll along the Promenade Beach.
  • Explore the vibrant nightlife of Pondicherry with dinner at one of the many restaurants or cafes, or you can take a stroll along the beach.

Day 3Picchavaram - Pondicherry

  • Wake up, call by 4:30 a.m., and do freshnup .
  • Proceed to the Pichavaram Mangrove Forest and have breakfast in between .
  • The Pichavaram forest not only offers waterscape and backwater cruises, but also another very rare sight: the mangrove forest trees are permanently rooted in a few feet of water.
  • further to Pondicherry and finish lunch.
  • Explore beaches in Pondicherry and French streets, White Town, the French war memorial, Indian war memorial ,Raj nivas etc..
  • Have dinner in French style and have fun.
  • End for the day.

Day 4Rock Beach - Paradise Beach - Base city

  • Get up early in the morning to see Rock Beach’s breathtaking sunrise view.
  • Have breakfast in Pondicherry. Check out the stay and proceed to Paradise Beach.
  • Paradise Beach, or Plage Paradiso, as it is known, is a popular tourist destination at Chunnambar Boat House. This Pondicherry beach got its name because of the peaceful experience it offers its visitors.
  • To access this beach, we need to take a boat ride from the boating point .
  • Visit Paradise and proceed to Base City to board the train .
  • Finish lunch in between, reach the base city, & board the train.

Day 5Reach Origin City

  • Reach your Origin city and conclude the trips with loads of memories
