Embarking on the Kedarnath Yatra in 2025 offers devotees a profound spiritual journey to one of the holiest pilgrimage sites, nestled amidst the majestic Himalayas. Situated in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India, Kedarnath is revered as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, holding immense significance in Hindu mythology and spirituality.

The journey to Kedarnath is more than just a physical pilgrimage—it is a spiritual odyssey, where devotees seek divine blessings, inner peace, and a deeper connection with faith. Every year, thousands of pilgrims undertake this sacred trek, braving rugged terrains, unpredictable weather, and challenging conditions, all driven by unwavering devotion and belief.

Itinerary

Day 1Departure day Delhi to Haridwar

  • Bus will departure from Delhi after 10pm.
  • We will assist you with the places in Delhi(if you reach a day before)
  • Overnight to journey to Haridwar.

Day 2Haridwar to Sonprayag via Devprayag and Rudraprayag

🚐 Board the private vehicle and get ready to depart from Haridwar at around 6 AM.

🥞 Take a pit stop for breakfast (self-paid), where we also get freshened up. Please note, washrooms are limited and basic at this stop.

🏔️ Enjoy the scenic long ride, passing through Devprayag and Rudraprayag, soaking in the mesmerizing Himalayan views as we continue our journey towards Sonprayag/Guptkashi.

🌄 Reach by 5-6 PM and unwind with a hot-served dinner.

😴 End the day with rest and recharge for the adventure ahead!

Day 3Trek day to Kedarnath

Early Morning Departure:

  • Start your journey around 2:00 AM from Sonprayag to Gaurikund via local shuttle.
  • Freshen up & have breakfast before beginning the trek.

Trek to Kedarnath :

  • The moderate-level trek requires good physical endurance.
  • Enjoy the breathtaking landscapes, surrounded by glaciers, waterfalls, and lush valleys.
  • Feel the cool breeze and soak in the heavenly aura of the Himalayas.

Arrival at Kedarnath (~3:00 PM):

  • Lunch & rest after the long trek.
  • Experience the divine atmosphere of Kedarnath, letting faith and devotion uplift your soul.

Sacred Evening:

  • Participate in the Kedarnath Aarti, an unforgettable spiritual experience.
  • Let the holy chants & temple bells take you to a world of faith and serenity.

Overnight Stay:

  • Rest in camping tents (sharing basis) under the starlit Himalayan sky.
  • Prepare for cold weather as temperatures drop significantly at night.

🚨 Note: The trek is challenging, so pace yourself, stay hydrated, and take short breaks when needed.

Day 4Holy Kedarnath temple visit

Early Morning Darshan & Sunrise View:

  • Temple prayers start at 2:00 AM – witness the divine morning Aarti.
  • Experience the first golden rays of the sun illuminating the temple, creating a breathtaking view.
  • Seek blessings at Kedarnath Temple and soak in the spiritual energy.

Trek Back to Sonprayag:

  • After completing the Darshan, we begin our descent from Kedarnath.
  • The trek down (~6-7 hours) is easier but requires caution on steep sections.
  • Enjoy the serene mountain views as we make our way back to Gaurikund and then Sonprayag.

Arrival & Rest:

  • Dinner & relaxation after the long trek.
  • Overnight stay in Sonprayag or Guptkashi.

🚨 Note: Start the trek early to avoid delays and ensure a smooth journey back.

🚨 Important Note:

While returning from Kedarnath Temple Darshan, the vehicle will depart only once all group members have assembled at the designated parking area.

✅ If you wish to leave early or take an alternate mode of transport, it will be your responsibility to cover any additional expenses (such as private taxi or transport costs).

🚘 Kindly coordinate with the group leader and follow the schedule to ensure a smooth journey for everyone.

Day 5Last day of the trip

After breakfast 🍽️, depart with a feeling of fulfillment and contentment 😊.
Enjoy an 8-10 hour scenic drive 🚗 through Rudraprayag & Devprayag ⛰️.
Arrive in Haridwar 🙏 and board the bus to Delhi 🚌.
Overnight journey 🌙 to Delhi.
Reach Delhi the next day 🌅 and proceed to your home cities 🏡.
