Itinerary

Day 1Arrival and Araku Valley Exploration

  • Pickup from Vizag railway station/airport.

 

  •  Start with a visit to Borra Caves, known for their stalactite and stalagmite formations.

 

  • Stop at Galikonda Viewpoint, the highest point in the Eastern Ghats, offering panoramic views.

 

  • Trek to Katiki Waterfalls (requires a short hike through scenic trails).

 

  •  Lunch at a local restaurant.

 

  •  Explore the Araku Coffee Museum, showcasing the region’s rich coffee culture.

 

  • Visit the Tribal Museum to learn about the indigenous cultures of the area.

 

  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

 

  • Check into your hotel in Araku. Rest and relax.

Day 2Waterfalls and Camping at Vanjangi

  • Wake-up call. Check out and Proceed to Chaparai Waterfalls.

 

  • Enroute have a Breakfast.

 

  •  Visit Chaparai Waterfalls, a natural rock formation with cascading streams.

 

  •  Explore Ananthagiri Coffee Plantations for a serene walk amidst coffee estates.

 

  •  Head to Kothapally Waterfalls for a refreshing experience.

 

  •  Lunch at a local restaurant.

 

  •  Proceed to Vanjangi Hills, known for its surreal cloudscapes and misty valleys.

 

  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

 

  •  Set up camp with WOW people.

Day 3Sunrise at Vanjangi and Vizag Exploration

  • 4:00 AM: Wake-up call and freshen up.

 

  •  Hike to Vanjangi Hills to witness a spectacular sunrise above the clouds at 3,400 feet MSL.

 

  •  Return to the campsite, pack up, and descend to the main road.

 

  •  Lunch en route back to Vizag.

 

  •  Explore R.K Beach, a vibrant seaside destination, and stroll along Beach Road.

 

  •  Dinner at a beachside restaurant.

 

  •  Drop-off at Vizag railway station/airport.
