Exploring Rajmachi Fort was a thrilling trek through misty trails and rugged terrain.
The panoramic views from the twin forts, Shrivardhan and Manaranjan, were absolutely breathtaking.
Kataldhar Waterfalls offered a hidden gem-like feel, with its cascading waters nestled in dense forest.
The descent to the waterfall was challenging but rewarded us with serene solitude and cool mist.
Visapur Fort stood majestic with its massive stone walls and monsoon-fed waterfalls.

Arrive in Pune by approximately 11:00 AM.
Transfer to a non-AC vehicle; enjoy breakfast en route to Rajmachi.
Reach Lonavala and transfer into jeeps for the off-road drive to the trek’s midpoint.
Trek to Rajmachi village and explore the historic Rajmachi Fort, soaking in panoramic views.
Check in at a local homestay—accommodation provided in a common hall with mats and blankets.
Enjoy a traditional Maharashtrian dinner and engage with local villagers for a cultural experience.
Early morning wake-up call at 4:00 AM; light breakfast (Poha) at the homestay.
Begin the moderate trek to Kataldhar Waterfalls; expected arrival by 8:00 AM.
(Alternate waterfall visit if access to Kataldhar is restricted)
After the trek, proceed to Khandala viewpoint for scenic photography and leisure.
Arrive at the Lonavala campsite; accommodation in commando or camping tents (subject to availability).
Dinner is served at the campsite. Overnight stay in tents.

Participants must be aged 18 or above. Minors (15–17) must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Basic physical fitness is required, as the itinerary includes moderate trekking.
Participants are expected to follow the instructions of the trek leaders and organizers at all times.
Full payment must be made at the time of booking to confirm participation.
The initial booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Payment gateway or transaction charges are non-refundable.
Sleeper class train tickets (SL class) will be arranged as per availability; seat/berth preferences cannot be guaranteed.
Local transportation will be provided in Non-AC vehicles (Tavera/Tempo/Mini Bus).
Accommodation will be on a sharing basis:
Rajmachi: Basic homestay (shared hall with mats and blankets)
Lonavala: Separate tents for men and women at the campsite
Only the meals mentioned in the itinerary (2 breakfasts, 2 dinners – all vegetarian) are included.
Participants are advised to carry their own dry snacks and refillable water bottles.
Alcohol and drug use are strictly prohibited during the event.
Respect local customs, fellow travellers, trek leaders, and the natural environment.
Littering, misbehaviour, or damage to property (homestays, vehicles, campsite) may lead to immediate removal from the event without refund.
Participants must comply with safety instructions provided by the guides at all times.
Participants must inform the organizers of any pre-existing medical conditions before the trip.
Basic first aid will be available, but the organizers are not liable for any medical emergencies.
MOW is not responsible for any injury, accident, illness, or loss of life caused due to natural hazards or personal negligence.
The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather conditions, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances.
MOW reserves the right to cancel or modify the event without prior notice in such cases. Suitable alternatives or refunds (as per policy) will be offered.
Participants are solely responsible for their belongings throughout the trip.
Avoid carrying expensive electronics, valuables, or heavy luggage.
MOW is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

🔹 Cancellations & Postponements by Organiser (MOW):
MOW reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event in the following situations:
If the minimum number of travellers (8) is not met.
Due to uncontrollable external factors such as:
Natural calamities (heavy rains, earthquakes, landslides)
Strikes, bandhs, curfews
Virus outbreaks or government restrictions
Other unforeseen emergencies
In such cases, participants may choose to:
Transfer the booking to an alternative available event.
Opt for a full refund (deducting any applicable transportation cancellation charges).
Refunds will be processed via bank transfer within two business weeks.
🔹 Cancellations by the Traveller (You):
▪ Cancellation within 48 hours of event start time:
No refund will be issued.
Last-minute cancellations due to personal issues (health, work, etc.) will not be entertained.
No ticket transfer or date rescheduling allowed.
▪ Cancellation 3 to 6 days before the event:
Ticket can be transferred to a friend with prior notice.
No refund, but your friend can participate in your place.
▪ Cancellation 7 or more days before the event:
50% refund of the trip amount (excluding payment gateway charges).
Refunds will be processed via bank transfer within two business weeks.

The itinerary involves moderate trekking. Participants should be in good physical health and capable of walking 6–8 km over uneven terrain. No prior trekking experience is necessary, but basic fitness is essential.
Accommodation is basic but clean and safe:
- Rajmachi Village: Homestay in a shared hall with mats and blankets provided.
- Lonavala: Campsite stay in separate tents for men and women.
Yes, basic washroom facilities will be available at both the homestay and the campsite. However, please note these are rural locations, and facilities may be minimal.
We provide:

Participants are advised to carry personal snacks, energy bars, or dry fruits for treks. Bottled water is not provided, so bring a refillable bottle.
Sleeper class (SL) train tickets are provided for Hyderabad–Pune/Lonavala–Hyderabad.
Local travel is arranged in Non-AC vehicles (Tavera/Tempo/Mini Bus).
A jeep ride is included for part of the Rajmachi trail.
Carry a backpack (not trolley bags), trekking shoes, 2–3 sets of clothes, rainwear, water bottle, snacks, toiletries, flashlight, power bank, basic medication, and a copy of your ID. A detailed packing list is shared separately.
Mobile connectivity is patchy or unavailable in Rajmachi village and parts of the trek routes. Please inform your family in advance about limited access.
No. This is a strictly no-alcohol, no-smoking trip. Consumption of alcohol or intoxicants during the event will lead to immediate removal without refund.
Trekking in light to moderate rain is part of the adventure. However, if conditions are unsafe (e.g., heavy rain or landslides), the itinerary may be altered, or the event may be cancelled. In such cases, alternatives or partial refunds (as per policy) will be provided.
