Itinerary

Day 1Dehradun to Sankri (Scenic drive through picturesque valleys)

  • Meet at a central location in Dehradun and enjoy an early lunch (at your own expense).
  •  
  • Depart for Sankri, passing through Mussoorie, Kempty Falls, and the beautiful Yamuna Valley.
  •  
  • Arrive in Sankri after approximately 5 hours of driving and check into a hotel or GMVN for the night.

Day 2Sankri to Osla via Taluka (First taste of trekking through the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary)

  • After breakfast, check out and travel to Taluka by jeep (if the road is open).

 

  • Begin your trek from Taluka, following the Supin River into the pristine wilderness.

 

  • Reach Osla village, known for its earthquake-resistant cottages, and camp for the night.

Day 3Osla to Waterfall Camp (Trek through vibrant forests and stunning landscapes)

  • Start your trek from Osla, initially descending before continuing along the valley’s true left.

 

  • Pass through beautiful forests filled with chestnut, walnut, and willow trees.

 

  • Arrive at the Waterfall Camp (2560 m / 8400 ft) after about 6-7 hours of trekking and set up camp for the night.

Day 4Waterfall Camp to Har-Ki-Dun Valley (Ascend to the stunning meadows of Har-Ki-Dun)

  • Trek along the true left of the valley, crossing a hanging bridge over the Supin River.
  •  
  • Gradually ascend past terraced fields, enjoying views of local huts and coniferous forests.
  •  
  • Reach the meadows of Har-Ki-Dun, where you can admire the breathtaking views and set up camp by a small stream.
  •  
  • After exploring the area, descend back to Waterfall Camp for the night.

Day 5Waterfall Camp to Osla/Seema (Explore the enchanting valley flanked by majestic mountains)

  • Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as you trek back to Osla, taking in the magnificent views of the Kala Nag, Bandarpoonch, and Swargarohini peaks.
  •  
  • Spend time relaxing in this picturesque location, surrounded by soft grassy patches and stunning landscapes.
  •  
  • Camp overnight in Osla village, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings.

Day 6Osla/Seema to Sankri (Leisurely trek back through charming villages and stunning vistas)

  • Begin the trek back to Sankri, retracing your steps along the Supin River.
  •  
  • Take advantage of the opportunity to capture beautiful photographs of the valley and its inhabitants.
  •  
  • Arrive in Sankri after 5-6 hours of trekking and settle into your accommodation for the night.

Day 7Sankri to Dehradun (Optional white-water rafting adventure)

  • After an early breakfast, drive to Mori (weather permitting) for an exhilarating white-water rafting experience.
  •  
  • Return to Dehradun, where you can board your bus, train, or flight home, cherishing memories of your Himalayan adventure.

 

 

Essential Points to Remember:

  • Ensure proper conditioning and physical training beforehand.
  • Use appropriate gear and clothing for sub-zero temperatures.
  • Footwear is the most critical piece of equipment—choose wisely.
  • Proper acclimatization is essential for high-altitude travel.
  • Be aware that mobile phones may not work in this region.
  • Pack light for ease of movement.
  • The weather can be unpredictable, so the itinerary remains flexible.
THINGS TO CARRY

Gears :

  • A Rucksack bag and a day pack during the trek
  • Day pack + rain cover: Mandatory if you’re offloading your backpack. It will hold your essentials like a water bottle, poncho, sunglasses, sunscreen, protein bars, Wallet, Power banks and anything else you might need for the day.
  • 2-Litre re usable water bladder or bottle

Medicines :

  • one strip of Diamox
  • Glucose powder or ORSL-incase of dehydration Medicines for Headache,diarrhea,motion and altitude sickness
  • Dettol,bandages and cotton
  • Any prescribed medicine

Personal Accessories :

  • Toiletries: Sunscreen, moisturizer, lip balm, toilet paper,hand sanitizer, antibacterial powder, toothbrush &toothpaste, hand towel, soap/facewash, sanitary napkins/alternatives. AVOID CARRYING WET WIPES AS THEY’RE NOT BIODEGRADABLE. Carry a Ziplock bag to hold your used wet wipes and sanitary napkins. Do not litter.

Foot wear :

 

  • Trekking shoes: NOT sports shoes or canvas shoes. Look for trekking shoes with high ankle support and good grip.Choose one size bigger for comfort.
  • Slippers/ floaters: to wear in Homestay.

Clothing : 

  • A sun cap and a woolen cap
  • UV protected sunglasses
  • One cotton long sleeves and 2 short sleeve t-shirt 1 fleece jacket
  • 2 pairs of thermals ( top&bottom)
  • 1 heavy Thick jacket/down jacket
  • 1 pair of gloves
  • At least 2 long pants (trek pants and cargo pants are favorable)
  • 4 sets of undergarments 2 pairs of socks
  • A small towel
  • A rain jacket or a poncho.

Must Carry :

  • Authentic Govt. recognized ID Sunscreen, lipbalm and UV protected Sunglasses
  • Comfortable warm clothing like woolen socks, cap, fleece jackets or warmers, down jacket, toiletries.
  • Personal medicine(if any) & few medicines for motion sickness and altitude sickness power banks
  • Protein bars: For energy LED torchlight

  •   ⁠Team MOW reserves the right to change, modify, add, or cancel the planned schedule incase of emergency situations.
  •  ⁠Team MOW reserves the right to alter accommodation arrangements due to external factors beyond our control.

UNDERSTANDING:

  •   ⁠Team MOW reserves the right to capture photographs and use them on social media. If you have any concerns, please inform us, and we will ensure you are not included in the photographs.
  •   ⁠Please refrain from using plastic and always use dustbins.
CANCELLATION POLICY
  • No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However,

Cancellation and postponements by organiser(s):

  • MOW may decide to cancel the event if there are less than 8 travellers or due to external factors which are beyond our control, such as Natural Hazards like rains, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, Virus OutBreak, curfew, etc,
  • The Team will inform you about alternate events. You can choose to switch to any other event for which seats are available or choose to cancel in this case, the full amount will be refunded(Transportation Cancellation charges will be deducted)

Cancellation policy by the traveler(YOU) :

  • If you cancel 48 hours before the date of the event: No refund would be provided.
  • Last-minute cancellations due to work, health issues, etc. would not be entertained and no refund or transfer shall be allowed for the same.
  • No postponing your ticket to future events and no refund within 48 hours of the event start time.
  • If you cancel 3-6days before the date of the event: you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard- earned money.
  • If you cancel 7 days before the date of the event: 50 % of the full amount of the trip. (Payment gateway charges will be deducted).
