Itinerary

Day 1Departure day

  • Departure from the origin city in the Morning by sleeper train.
  1. 6:00 AM from Kacheguda by sleeper train.
  2. 5:00 AM from Vijayawada Station.
  3. 4:30 PM from Renigunta Station.

Travel Instructions for Vijayawada Passengers:

  • 5:00 AM: Depart from Vijayawada to Renigunta by AC Double Decker train (break journey required). To avail of this, please make sure to add it while booking.
  • 4:30 PM: At Renigunta, transfer to the connecting train coming from Kacheguda to proceed towards the base city.

Day 2Athirapilly Falls - Alleppy Boat House

  • 06:00 AM – Pickup at Base City.
  • Proceed to Athirappilly Waterfalls.
  •  Explore Athirappilly Waterfalls and Have Breakfast near waterfalls.
  •  Proceed to Alleppey.
  •  Finish Lunch on the way to Alleppey.
  • In between visit Marari Beach and spend some quality time on the beach.
  •  Reach Alleppey by 05:00 pm.
  • By 05:30 pm Boat will be anchored in the lake.
  • After checking into the boat get a fresh and welcome drink kerala style tea.
  • Have dinner at the boat only.
  •  End of the day.

Day 3Day tour to Kovalam

  • Wake up – 06:00 am.
  • Start the day with a one-hour boat ride through the Alleppey backwaters. finish breakfast and Check out by 09:00 AM
  • Proceed to Jatayu earth centre.
  • Explore the massive sculpture and the panoramic view.
  • Finish Lunch
  • Proceed to Kovalam Beach and visit Sagarika Marine Research Aquarium & Lighthouse Beach.
  • Enjoy the sunset from the top of the lighthouse, with stunning views over the Arabian Sea.
  •  Check into stay at Kovalam and freshen up.
  • Return to stay, have dinner at local cafes in Kovalam, and rest for the day.

Day 4Day tour to Varkala

  • Wake up and freshen up.
  • Check out from the stay and proceed to Mulloor.
  • Visit Aazhimala Shiva Temple, known for its stunning seaside location.
  • Optional: Explore Poovar Island for a scenic backwater cruise.
  • Travel to Trivandrum and visit:
    • ​​​​​Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple (one of the richest temples in the world).
    •  Attukal Bhagavathy Temple (renowned as the “Sabarimala of Women”).
  • Proceed to Varkala and check into your stay.
  • Freshen up and explore café hopping along the cliffside.
  • Return to your stay and relax for the night.

Day 5Day tour to Thekkady

  • Wakeup call and Freshen up
  • Finish Breakfast & Check out the stay and Proceed to Thekkady.
  • Enjoy the scenic route through lush greenery, rubber plantations, and small villages
  •  visit a nearby spice plantation for a tour. You’ll learn about the cultivation of spices like cardamom, pepper, and vanilla.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savour Kerala dishes such as fish curry, Kerala rice, or vegetarian specialities.
  • Visit Elephant Junction for a memorable experience with elephants. You can choose to ride, feed, or even bathe an elephant.

  • Visit kadathanadan kalari and navarasa kathakali centre.

  • Kalaripayattu – The oldest of martial arts is a gift to the modern world and known as the mother of all martial arts.
  • Kathakali is a group presentation, in which dancers take various roles in performances traditionally based on themes from Hindu mythology, especially the two epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata.
  • Check into your hotel in Thekkady, where you can rest and freshen up.
  • Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Try traditional Kerala dishes, or explore some other options available.

Day 6Day tour to Suryanelli

  • Wake up – 06:00am.
  • Start the day with a Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (Boat Safari)

  • One of Thekkady’s highlights. The safari lasts around 1.5 hours, giving you the chance to spot elephants, bison, and a variety of birds.

  • After breakfast, check out of your hotel and depart for Munnar.

  • Head towards Suryanelli, stopping at Munnar for lunch. This hill station is known for its tea gardens and scenic viewpoints. (Our Basecamp for kolukkumalai Peak).

  •  En route to Suryanelli, stop at Photo Point for breathtaking views and photo opportunities.
  • Arrive at the campsite by evening. Welcome drink – Kolukkumalai Black Tea/ Tea
  • Enjoy the Campfire followed by dinner.(Please note campfire is common to everyone at the campsite).

 

Day 7Munnar Sightseeing Day

  • 4:00 AM: Wake-up call.
  • Black Hot Tea will be served in the morning.
  • Start early at 04:30 AM for a jeep safari to Kolukkumalai Peak. Witness the sunrise from this breathtaking location.
  •  Explore Sunrise Point & Tiger Point.
  •  Return to the campsite for refreshing up & Indulge in a Kerala special breakfast.
  • Check out from the campsite and move towards Munnar for sightseeing.
  • Visit the following spots: Mattupetti Dam, and Echo Point.
  • Check into your accommodation.
  • Explore local shopping for chocolates, coffee, and tribal toys, Munnar specials for your loved ones.
  • End of the day, for a restful night’s sleep.

 

 
 
 

Day 8Tea Museum and Board the train

  • 6:00 AM – Wake up call and start the day early with a visit to a tea factory to learn about tea production.
  •  Finish breakfast at Munnar only.
  • Begin the journey back to Coimbatore, with lunch in between. Arrive in Coimbatore in time for your train departure.
  • Overnight journey by SL class train.
  • Reach your origin on the next day afternoon.

CANCELLATION POLICY

No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However,

CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENTS BY ORGANISER(S):

  • MOW may decide to cancel the event if there are less than eight travellers or due to external factors that are beyond our control, such as Natural Hazards like rains, earthquakes, landslides, strikes, bandh, Virus outbreaks, curfews, etc.,
  • The Team will inform you about alternate events. You can choose to switch to any other event for which seats are available or choose to cancel in this case, the full amount will be refunded(Transportation Cancellation charges will be deducted) On business days, the refund amount will be completed within two weeks. All relevant refunds will be made via bank transfer only to the traveller.

CANCELLATION POLICY BY THE TRAVELER(YOU) :

  • If you cancel 48 hours before the date of the event, No refund will be provided.
  • Last-minute cancellations due to work, health issues, etc., would not be entertained, and no refund or transfer shall be allowed for the same.
  • No postponing your ticket to future events and no refund within 48 hours of the event start time.
  • If you cancel 3-6 days before the date of the event, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board, and you could save your hard-earned money.
  • Suppose you cancel 7 days before the date of the event, 50 % of the full amount of the trip. (Payment gateway charges will be deducted). On business days, the refund amount will be completed within two weeks. All relevant refunds will be made via bank transfer only to the traveller.
