  • Transportation by SL class train We will assist in booking your train tickets based on availability. If tickets are not available, we will attempt to book them under the Tatkal quota. However, please note that we cannot guarantee confirmation, as it depends on the IRCTC server and its availability.

Itinerary

Day 1Departure from origin city

  • Departure from the origin city in the morning by sleeper train.

  • 6:00 AM from Kacheguda by sleeper train.

  • 5:00 AM from Vijayawada Station.

  • 4:30 PM from Renigunta Station.

 

  • Travel Instructions for Vijayawada Passengers:

    • 5:00 AM: Depart from Vijayawada to Renigunta by AC Double Decker train (break journey required). To make this available, please make sure to add it while booking.

    • 4:30 PM: At Renigunta, transfer to the connecting train coming from Kacheguda to proceed towards the base city.

Day 2Coimbatore arrival and Proceed to Ooty

  • 02:00 AM – Reach Coimbatore and basic freshen up at the railway station.
  • 04:00 AM – Get into a non-AC hired bus/ tempo.
  • Depart from Coimbatore and head toward Munnar. The journey takes about 4-5 hours.
  • 7:30 AM – Stop at a restaurant and finish breakfast.
  • Head straight to Lamb’s Rock to enjoy breathtaking views of the Nilgiri hills and valleys.
  • Proceed to the nearby tea plantations to witness the lush greenery.
  • Have lunch at a local restaurant in Ooty.
  • Visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiris, for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
  • Explore a tea factory and a chocolate factory to indulge in some delicious treats.
  • Move to accommodation in Ooty for a restful evening.

Day 3Ooty Exploration Day

  • 6:00 AM – Wake up call and Freshen up.
  • After breakfast, head to Pykara Lake, a scenic reservoir surrounded by forests and hills. You can enjoy boating or relax by the lakeside.
  • Visit Pykara Waterfalls, located nearby, to witness the cascading waters amidst picturesque surroundings.
  • Explore the Pine Forest and Shooting Point, a popular spot for capturing stunning views.
  • Have lunch at the Restaurant.
  • Return to Ooty town and visit the Government Botanical Garden to admire its vast collection of plants and flowers.
  • Spend the evening at leisure, perhaps strolling around the local markets.
  • Back to stay by 8:00 pm, have dinner, and it’s a Good Night.

Note:

  • *Toy train journey: Depending on ticket availability, board the train from Coonoor to Ooty or Ooty to Coonoor, which typically takes about an hour. This journey will be either day 1 or day 2, as per ticket availability.*

Day 4Adiyogi - Isha Foundation

  • 05:00 AM – Wake-up call, freshen up, and have breakfast.

  • Depart for Adiyogi at the Isha Foundation.

  • Arrive at Adiyogi; visit the Dhyanalinga and the Shiva statue.

  • Have lunch and drive back to Coimbatore.

  • 03:50 PM – Conclude the trip and board the train for departure.
