Nearby, the historic Ratangad Fort stands as a sentinel overlooking lush green landscapes and the Bhandardara backwaters. The fort’s natural rock-cut “Eye of the Needle” adds a unique charm, offering a perfect viewpoint for sunrise or sunset. Together, these destinations combine nature, history, and adventure for an unforgettable trek.

Itinerary

Day 1Depature day

  • Departure from the origin city in the evening by Non AC sleeper coach train
    • (Don’t worry we will make the reservations for you. This is on US!)

Day 2Trek to Sandhan Valley

  • Wake up and freshen up on the train, reach the base city, and proceed to base village Samrad by a pre-hired vehicle on the way to finish breakfast.
  • A Small Introduction regarding the Sandhan Valley Trek by Team Captain.
  • Start our trek by and begin loading ourselves into the valley with much joy and excitement.
  • Reach the Rappelling point by Afternoon, Finish the packed lunch, and head further to the second rappelling point.
  • Explore Sandhan Valley and Enjoy the sunset.
  • Back to the campsite in the Village. Have dinner and rest for the day.

     

    Note: Overnight stay at camping tents. Rooms won’t be available at the sight. This is a Completely offbeat Experience. If anybody wants luxury please don’t choose this trek.

Day 3Ratangad Fort - Descend back and board the train/bus

  • Wake up early morning. Get Freshen up and Enjoy a beautiful sunrise.
  • Finish Breakfast and start Hiking towards Ratangad Fort.
  • Trek trails through deep forest and climb on thrilling ladders to reach the peak point of Fort.
  • Explore Ratanghad fort. Have a packed lunch at the top of the fort.
  • Start Descending towards the base village.
  • Move to Base City to board the Train.

Day 4Arrival to origin city

  • Reach your origin city in the Afternoon and conclude the trip with loads of memories that you can cherish for a lifetime.
